Why I Do This Work

It all started with a bear in the doorway.

One morning, my toddler Kennedy—messy-haired and clutching her Build-A-Bear— stood in the doorway and begged me not to leave for work. I was dressed, packed, & ready to go...but my heart cracked open. I didn't want to miss another breakfast. I didn't want someone else picking her up from school.

I wanted a business that worked around my life—not the other way around.

That moment sparked everything:

The belief that I could do this—even if I never thought I was "the type" to be a business owner
